Financial Support

At St. Andrew the Apostle School, we understand that every student—and every family—has unique needs. Just as we provide a wide range of courses and extra support to help our students succeed, we are also committed to walking alongside our families. We recognize that some may need a little extra help to continue giving their children the gift of a Catholic School education. That’s why we are pleased to once again offer tuition assistance programs, and we warmly encourage you to apply if this support would be helpful for your family.

We encourage you to apply for every program your student may qualify for. In many cases, students can receive support from more than one program each year.

1. St. Andrew the Apostle Foundation

At St. Andrew the Apostle, we partner with FACTS—the same portal you already use for tuition—to make applying for tuition assistance simple and stress-free. FACTS looks at each family’s financial picture, including things like income, assets, debt, dependents, and monthly expenses, to provide a fair assessment of need.

Applications open on February 1, 2026. From there, your request is reviewed and the following is taken into account:

• FACTS’ confidential recommendation

• How many families are applying for assistance

• The amount of funding available in our budget at that time

• Your family’s involvement in St. Andrew the Apostle Parish and School

Who Qualifies?

Any student entering St. Andrew can qualify.

How Do I Apply?

Families who are interested in tuition assistance are invited to complete a FACTS application each year to be considered for a reduced tuition rate. Simply log into the FACTS tuition portal by clicking here. 

We encourage you to submit your application as early as possible. Decisions will be shared at the beginning of June 2026.

2. Champions of Catholic Education

Each Spring the Department of Catholic Education and Faith Formation gives families opportunities to apply for tuition assistance, which is also available through FACTS.

All students entering Kindergarten through 7th grade.

3. Ace Scholarships

Ace Scholarships believes that every child has equal access to a quality education of their choice. Their goal is to secure financial support for families in need of support. They assist with paying partial tuition for the student.

4. Arete Scholars

St. Andrew the Apostle is grateful to also partner with Arete Scholars to help families who need extra support with tuition. Applications for this scholarship open in early 2026. Completing the application as soon as possible is important, as funds are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.

5. LA Gator Program

The State of Louisiana has introduced the LA Gator Program, offering Educational Savings Accounts (ESA) to help families who choose non-public schools for their children. This wonderful initiative highlights Louisiana’s dedication to empowering parents with educational choices and ensuring that every child has the opportunity to learn in an environment that best supports their growth and success.

Who Qualifies?

A student who lives in Louisiana and also meets one of the following:

• They Participated in the Louisiana Scholarship Program during the previous school year.

• They are entering kindergarten.

• They were enrolled in a public school the previous school year.

• They are from a family with a total income at or below 250% of federal poverty guidelines.
