Order of Acceptance of Otherwise Qualified Applicants
St. Andrew the Apostle School typically accepts students according to the following categories:*
Children of territorial parishioners who are deemed active by the pastor; Siblings of St. Andrew the Apostle School students;**
Children of non-territorial parishioners who are deemed active by the pastor;
Children of St. Andrew the Apostle School Alumni or legacy families as determined by the pastor;
Children of territorial parishioners of a parish without a school or no room in their territorial parish school who are deemed active by their pastor;
Children of non-territorial parishioners of a parish without a school or no room in their territorial parish school who are deemed active by their pastor;
All others - including inactive parishioners, non-Catholics, etc.
* Meeting the above criteria does not guarantee automatic acceptance.
** Being a sibling and/or a parishioner does not guarantee automatic acceptance
NOTE: In the case of a student transferring from another Archdiocesan Catholic school, before granting admission, the principal will assess the status (academic, financial obligations, and disciplinary) of the student by conferring with the previous
principal.
In the event an applicant is sent an offer of acceptance. enrollment must be completed within one week of the acceptance notification. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture of status as a student for the school year.
Fee Policy
All fees are non-refundable regardless of acceptance as a student by SAS. Once a child has been accpeted, all fees applied to registration are non-refundable to any other child/student/applicant
By applying to St. Andrew the Apostle School, the parent(s)/guardian(s) of the applicant acknowledge and accept this policy regarding applicant order of acceptance.
